Theo's New Tricks

I still have a bunch of pictures to upload. But tonight Theo's learned two new tricks that I had to record. He is now a fist-sucking maniac. His fist has been occasionally finding its way into his mouth over the week or so, but today he really figured it out and seems able to stick it in there almost at will. He almost entertains himself doing that---soon he won't need us at all any more.

More surprising has been the clicking. Sara thought it was me fiddling with the swinging chair (one of the latches had gotten stuck), but it was Theo doing a tongue-click. We weren't sure what had happened, when he did it again. We encouraged a couple more out of him. The loudest ones seem to be spontaneous, though, and they are always surprising. Sara & I have been giggling all night about it. Even when Theo grabbed on to Sara's nipple when approaching for a feeding hasn't been as funny---although that set us off for a few minutes too, until Theo clicked again & we were beside ourselves once more with awe & joy.
